PhotoQt is a multiplatform image viewer works on both Linux and Windows. It's quite easy to use because of its simple and good looking user interface. 

Along with some basic features, you can also see meta-data of the images. It has support for multiple image formats. You can also setup Slideshow with your customized settings.
