TGIF Frying Anchovies at Home

Happy TGIF everyone, just finish clean up my fridge and found out there a few packets of anchovy that's sitting inside for quite sometimes. Hence, I'm going to fry some anchovy together with @joannewong  which also free up some space for my fridge.​

Here are some brief step that you can follow,
- First, wash clean up the anchovy with water. You can wash them twice if you like your anchovy​ to be less salty. Once done, filtered out the anchovy from the water and let it drain out.

- Use a deep wok or something that has a deep depth, pour in cooking oil. Make sure the oil is deep enough for your anchovy to be fully submerged​ later to be deep fry evenly, then heat up the oil and wait for it.

- Once the oil is heated up, put those anchovies​ into the oil and let it fry for few minutes (10-15 minutes). You will notice a lot of bubbles coming out, check on the anchovy by stirring them once in a while.

- You'll start noticing the bubble is getting lesser and lesser which then you can check whether the colour​ of anchovies is​ changing to dark brown.

- Take them up once there are in dark brown or brown depending on your preference and lay them down on some kitchen towel, let them cool down for a while.

- Finally, put them into an airtight​ container once they are cool enough to main their freshness and crunchiness.
