Today is the day! Waking up at 3.30AM to get ready for my 2D1N Cameron Highland Trip with the gang. Why we choose Monday? It's because we want to avoid traffic jams to enjoy those tight corner uphill route.

Heading over to Restaurant Mohammed Jamal, Uptown PJ for some light breakfast before heading out to NKVE (Highway). While halfway towards to the restaurant, I realize that I forget to take my jacket and it's not possible to get back to get it as we're chasing the time of departure. Guess I've to endure the cold weather of Cameron as my exercise before my upcoming Taiwan Trip.

Our Journey today</center>

Fuelling up and check our tyre pressure before final departure, and we're good to go. Our journey today will take us to Plus R&R Tapah (Resting) then continue towards Cameron Highland, which roughly took us 3 hours according to Google Map. We took roughly 1 hour 15 mins to reach R&R Tapah with a driving speed maintain 120-140kph.

15 minutes toilet break before we tackle the corners</center>

After the break, we continue our journey towards Cameron. The corners here are exactly similar to Gombak-Sempah-Bentong route, although the condition of the road is a bit under maintenance but still in the acceptable range. Within 45 mins, we reached the first town, Ringlet to grab some breakfast before continuing again.

After our breakfast, we head towards Brinchang to buy those fresh vegetables and fruits that we needed for tonight's steamboat. It took another 30 mins to reach the town of Brinchang from Ringlet with a few lorries on the way which cause some slow drive as well.

Since our Airbnb check-in is around 2 PM and we finish our shopping around 11 AM, we went to Cameron Valley Tea House for some tea, chill out and chit-chat. Weather today is good, slightly cloudy with occasional sunshine showering some heat for us (I need those heat frankly)

Finally, it's 2 PM and we were able to check-in our Airbnb, took us a while for us to find out the place as there is no map point only descriptive direction. First thing arrives at this Airbnb was to take those video and pictures, not to unload the stuff. After busy with taking videos and pictures and finally, we started to unload the stuff from our cars. Getting ready for dinner, we cooked the soup for our steamboat dinner and make randomly mixed cocktails using the available ingredient that we brought over.

After finishing the mixing and let the soup based to cook, we all rest and took turns to freshen up ourselves before dinner.
