#### Introduction 

Steemit is a social media platform that rewards its users for blogging. Being a social media, it also offers several means for aiding value and acquiring knowledge. I took it upon myself to do a promotion of the website to get the students of moshood Abiola polytechnic ogun state to be informed about this great platform.

#### Audience

I introduced steemit through a facebook tutorial ad. During the tutorials, I discussed what steemit is all about and how to get around it easily. I did the ad and promoted it to have an estimated reach of 19k to 27k people, male and female between the age of 14-40 yrs. I had to promote so that it can reach a higher number of moshood Abiola polytechnic student in nigeria  

#### Activity

The facebook ad ran for three days and ended on the 22th of February 2018.

#### Result

On the third day, the facebook promoted ad was able to reach over 5k people with a paid reach of 5134 people and an organic reach of 31 people, making it a total of 5165 people reach. The ad also had over 2597 post engagement, which shows the tutorial was successful.
