Right before dark, I had a little chance to take some shots of this unique shape insect around the grass outside of my house. This is a very small insect that was so cautious with strangers, hopping and running up and down, trying to escape from the shot. As it is a small creature, I had to use a macro in order to make it visible to the surface. This insect is included in the class of [froghopper](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Froghopper) that belongs to the superfamily Cercopoidea, also called spittlebug or cuckoo spit insect, hopping insects that produce a frothy substance known as spittle. The one I found is called meadow froghopper or spittlebug. It is also capable of hoping fast and jumping to flee when it feels unsafe.
