Last week, we went back to hunt mushrooms. There was one spot that we probably find the mushroom that was a forest in the remote village. We get used to passing the challenging tracks to get the spot. It's a hot day and I got to deal with it because something out there waiting for me. After passing the narrow path, I arrived at the hill that is filled with grasses and a dead burned-tree. So I decided to walk around while my eyes searching the mushroom in those dead trees. It took me a few minutes to arrive at the spot where this mushroom was. I finally caught up with this mushroom which was dead, and some parts were already rotted but did not hold me take a few pictures of what I thought was good to be exposed. I believe this species is bracket fungus included in the [polypores]( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polypore) that is also called bracket fungi, and their woody fruiting bodies are called conks.
