Stereotypes; Humans On A Different Level.
<div class="text-justify">

If there is one thing I have tried so much to adjust to in my life lately that’s the fact that I don’t care much about what people think about me, my personality, behavior, attitude, reactions, actions, decisions, choices, all of these is something I have learned to take my eyes away from as I age.

I have come to conclude that in life there is nothing you can do to satisfy humans, even God who created us is challenged by humans. So who am I?!  God created some people to be black but they wanted themselves lighter in complexion, some people were created to be thin, they wanted to be fat, and many more reasons why humans remain insatiable.

When discussing stereotypes, it's also possible to face challenges for not conforming to what others expect from you. I have been in different situations like that to some point they almost tagged me with different names different from who I am.

There are times when I get hyped wrongly. Some people tend to see me way beyond what I am. So with that, they get to raise their expectations from me and want more from what I have to offer them. But that's not how it works. You can’t expect someone who has an empty cup to pour out something.

Won’t it be best if humans could just understand their fellow humans and see them for who they are, respect their decisions and choices, ignore entitlement mentalities, and not try to twist them to what they are not?

There are different types of stereotypes, racial, cultural, gender, personal traits, and a lot more. But I have gotten more challenges from personal traits than the others.

I am the type of person that sticks to decisions and I don't waver when it comes to making critical decisions and choices. Sometimes I will go down to get myself uncomfortable just to make sure I achieve my goals. And in the end, when I am done I can then treat myself right.

In those moments when I am inconvenient people tend to belittle me in almost every aspect, but deep within me, I know what I want. Some would tag me as stingy, and selfish, just because I can't spend on myself and look good. It's actually what I want and I won't give in to distractions from any angle.

There was a time when someone challenged me for not always taking people's advice and most times always satisfied with my choices. I tried as much to remain a reserved person but that doesn’t mean people won't find fault in you.

As for cultural stereotypes, I didn’t know how it felt until I experienced some other cultures and then felt what it takes to be odd and treated differently from others.
