Life can be so funny at times. You look at your past, and then you wonder how things change so quickly with time. I can tell that the next century will be a total surprise to those who have witnessed this century and maybe a little of the next. Things will have changed so much beyond expectations.

A lot has happened in just decades. Witnessing the next decade will surely be amazing. I read a post about how the first IBM 305 data hard drive was always forklifted before it could be used. And it was just 5 MB as of then. I can't imagine 5 MB.  A whole hard drive is worth 5 MB. Imagine.

Come to compare it with nowadays. Even just a single image is worth more than 50 MB. That's crazy to believe it would happen if it were said in the past. I just can't take my brain off my imagination on how the first computer, the mainframe computer would look like. Maybe it would look like a story building and have its keyboard like a bungalow, 😂.

But let’s see what computers have become today. The digital world. Computers are now everywhere. They are becoming more and more portable, laptops have become foldable, touch screens, keyboard lights, wireless mouse, Bluetooth, and even the crazy integration of SSD from HDD. It even got things way faster than ever.

I was in a conversation with my bro this evening. We talked about the transformation of the railway from the old train that used steam engines to move so slowly and heavily to the recent train that moves on magnetic force and even faster than the speed of sound.

Just imagine what the world will look like in the next 200 years to come. When we have cars that are self-driven, well automated, and compared to the cars that were first invented. The differences have gone so far beyond imagination.

What if we are told that there will be a flying car in the decades to come? It would be hard to believe but it’s something that can come to pass. But with science, it is highly possible to happen.

Come to talk about devices, the evolution from mobile telephones with wired connections down to wireless communication systems and now we even have Android phones that are so sleek and durable with a lot of features that come in handy.

I think science has touched almost every aspect of life, so tell me how it could be forgotten.  I remember the old system of movies with cassette tapes and recorders. Just compared to the recent world where CGI is in movies. The computer-generated images that will make movies appear like they are acted in real life meanwhile they weren’t. Should we even get to talk about AI?  Artificial intelligence is gradually taking over!

In conclusion, science has come to stay, and I will say glad tidings to everyone who happens to embrace it. There is still more to come in the world with science and technology.
