Vamos con otra cerveza más de mi cervecera nacional favorita: Garage beer Co. Con varios Brewpubs y la fábrica en el corazón de Barcelona, para mí es visita obligada siempre que paso por Barcelona. Me encantan sus cervezas perfectamente elaboradas, que además abordan todos los estilos. Desde sus famosas IPA, sus refrescantes ácidas, o como ellos denominan: Barcelona Weisse. Algunos petróleos o cervezas negras contundentes o estilos clásicos ingleses y centroeuropeos como la que os muestro hoy. ¿Me pregunto cuanto tiempo tardarán en hacer una Pastry Sour?  **Cerveza:** Rabbit hole **Cervecera:** Garage Beer Co. (Barcelona, España) **Estilo:** Lager / Czech Pale **Alcohol:** 4.7º **Formato:** Lata de 440 ml A veces las cervezas más sencillas, son las más difíciles de hacer. Eso ocurre con las Lager. Cualquier homebrewer que se precie sabrá de lo que hablo. Complejo proceso que suele acabar en fiasco. Los propios muchachos de Garage reconocen que esta probablemente sea la cerveza más complicada que han elaborado. El proceso de decocción (Típico de las cervezas de baja fermentación) es arduo y complicado. Para los que no sepáis de qué estoy hablando, os lo explico brevemente. La decocción consiste en retirar parte de la cerveza en mitad del proceso de elaboración para someterla a diferentes cambios de temperatura y hervidos antes de llevarla de nuevo al recipiente inicial. El resultado en este caso es espectacular. Una cerveza Lager pero con alma de Pale Ale, Mucho cuerpo y sabor pero con la facilidad de trago y frescura de una lager. Sabores a cereal, pan y levadura. Color limpio y cristalino y espuma persistente. Personalmente me ha encantado esta cerveza. Any homebrewer worth their salt will know what I'm talking about. Complex process that usually ends in fiasco. The Garage guys themselves admit that this is probably the most complicated beer they've ever brewed. The decoction process (typical of bottom-fermented beers) is arduous and complicated. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I'll explain it briefly. Decoction consists of removing part of the beer in the middle of the brewing process to subject it to different temperature changes and boiling before returning it to the initial container. The result in this case is spectacular. A Lager beer but with the soul of a Pale Ale, Lots of body and flavor but with the ease of drinking and freshness of a lager. Flavors of cereal, bread and yeast. Clean, crystalline color and persistent foam. Personally I loved this beer. To drink by the liter.
