Seguimos con el estilo de moda, las SOUR PASTRY. Y en esta ocasión con una cervecera que no había realizado ninguna SOUR, al menos que yo conozca, lo cual demuestra la apuesta general de la industria artesana de cerveza por este estilo. Piggy Brerwing es mi cervecera francesa favorita y una vez más no me ha defraudado. Los reyes de la NEIPA también dominan este estilo.  **Cerveza:** Sunset Jam **Cervecera:** Piggy Brewing Company. (Liverdun, Francia) **Estilo:** Sour Pastry / Smoothie Sour **Alcohol:** 8º **Formato:** Lata de 440 ml Quizás no tan densa como otras que he probado recientemente pero igual de deliciosa. Realmente podríamos decir que son batidos con alcohol, pero no nos olvidemos que hay una fermentación de por medio y por eso es una cerveza. Además la acidez propia de las SOUR sigue estando presente y precisamente es su combinación con los sabores frutales lo que gusta tanto. En esta ocasión encontramos mucho sabor a cereza y albaricoque y muy de fondo aparece la vainilla, muy sutil, sin llegar a empalagar en absoluto. Los 8º de alcohol, una vez más, pasan desapercibidos.     _____________________________________________________________________ We continue with the trendy style, the SOUR PASTRY. We could really say that they are alcoholic shakes, but let's not forget that there is a fermentation involved and that is why it is a beer. Furthermore, the acidity typical of the SOUR is still present and it is precisely its combination with the fruit flavors that is so popular. On this occasion we find a lot of cherry and apricot flavor and very subtle vanilla appears in the background, without being cloying at all. The 8º of alcohol, once again, goes unnoticed.
