Should Christian fight back?
I have been worried since I heard the rumour of war,and the killing of Christians in Nigeria, I was confused on what to pray about since the happening is backup by prophesy . I got an answer, and I was inspired to write this.

If really it is the killing of Christians, do we think fighting back as Christians is the right thing to do? Even if some people claim that fighting back or violence is biblically supported, I would like to remind us that it was supported in the Old Testament. The legacy Jesus Christ brought to us is of peace, not violence. The only violence involved is spiritual, which has to do with the struggle for heaven (Paradise), and not for a life that is temporary. (Ephesians 6:12-13 )
Let’s come to think of it: Jesus never promised us a life free of persecution, and He and the disciples are real examples of it. He had the power to call upon His angels while He was being beaten for our sake, but He never did that, which is the greatest evidence of His love for us. (Matthew 5:44 )
Likewise, the disciples—do you think those who had the power to heal the sick and cast out demons wouldn’t have the power to deliver themselves in times of persecution? But our right as Christians is not of the world, but of God. He has promised us peace; let’s live by His peace. ( Matthew 5:44-46 )
Our priority is the Great Commission, which is the winning of souls. If we start going up and down with guns, it will contrast the peace we are trying to preach. Those that are killing Christians are fighting against God, and we cannot fight for God. Let God fight for Himself. If we are to love Him, let’s love Him to the face of death, just as the example He has laid down through Himself. (Romans 12:19 )
That we are not fighting back doesn’t make us fools, and it’s not that we are weak. The God that arrested Saul and made him Paul is still alive. The God that brought down the walls of Jericho with the sound of hallelujah can still do more than that. As our father in the Lord, Pastor Adeboye, has said, “All souls are important to God.” Romans 12:19-21 )

Conclusion:
All we need to do is to righteously keep praying, because the Bible makes it clear that the prayer of the righteous is powerful. (James 5:16)
Our kingdom is not of this world.
Our power is not in guns.
Our assignment is not revenge.
Our calling is: – Prayer, Evangelism, Love, Peace and Forgiveness. Shalom 🕊️🕊️
