<center> What do a book and an action video game have in common? At first sight, not much, as the fixed characters in black and white of the first differ from the fast and colorful scenes of the second. However, researchers from the Psychology and Neurocognition Laboratory, in collaboration with Spanish teams, show that action video game players have better reading performance. Indeed, despite their difference, reading and video games involve a common mechanism: the visuo-attentional span that corresponds to the number of visual information that can be processed simultaneously in one look.
