Moderating The Intake Of Sugar For A Healthy Lifestyle.
Sugar, which can be referred to as glucose in the body is a kind of carbohydrate which aims at generating more energy for our body cells and boosting the workforce of individuals. 
Sugar, also known as glucose has its impact on our body systems and it mostly aims at helping our muscles to function well, helping the brain function well. It is said that the brain depends on glucose for energy and without enough energy, the brain wouldn’t function well. 
Other reasons why the body needs sugar are for energy production and cellular activities. 

In as much as we need sugar, there should be limits to everything. Too much sugar can be bad for the health and when our sugar level is low too, it becomes a problem and that’s the condition called hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). 
This is a condition in which the sugar in your blood drops lower that the normal rate which is healthy for you. There are some health conditions which comes with hypoglycemia.

When you are having low blood sugar, you are likely to experience a faster heart rate, weakness, dizziness, anxiety or other common symptoms of low blood sugar. When this gets explained in hospitals, a lot of people make the mistake of consuming too much sugar which causes another medical condition known as hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). This becomes the worst of all. 

When a person begins to have a high blood sugar, such person is likley to have more sugar cravings. This does not have to happen intentionally. Such person will just find him or herself unnecessarily craving for sugar or something sugary. Also, such person is prone to diabetes. One of the biggest causes of diabetes is consuming too much sugar. When the sugar in the body sytem is too much, diabetes comes into the body system which is another medical condition entirely. 

Weight gain or obesity is also caused by hyperglycemia. When you gain too much weight, you are likely to be classified as unhealthy because you won’t be able to carry out normal activities which people do, you are likely to experience joint or respiratory problems. So, it’s better to stay away from too much sugar and take it moderately. 

You might be wondering how much sugar you should take. It is believed that men burn out sugar than women. This is why men are advised to take thirty six grams of sugar while women should take twenty five grams amount of sugar. 
Talking about the recommendations of WHO, people are advised to take twenty five grams of sugar in a day. 
With that, you have practiced taking sugar moderately and you won’t experience either hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia. 

Instead of taking sugar, why not take honey? Honey is one of the best alternatives of sugar. It works better than sugar in the body system and for those who do not take honey, fruits contain sugar as well.

It has been discovered that fruits are one of the best sources of sugar in the world because it contains natural sugar. 

Sugar is necessary in the body but we should moderate the intake to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
