My First Quarter Recap
<div class="text-justify">

Good evening everyone. I hope you're all having a good time. As April is already halfway through, we are approaching the end of the first quarter of 2025. Now as the ongoing contest states, the topic is a review of the first quarter. Not right off so bad. I have to come clean. The first quarter wasn't that eventful for me in my personal life. But it has been a roller coaster in the things that I usually keep track about. So I guess I'll lay down those things as there is very little happening in my only life. Most of my days are just going back and forth between my house and the university while trying to meet their deadlines and maybe eating something in case I get the time.

Still may be a brief could be that I have to come more tired than ever. Somehow I have lost a lot of energy. And I regret to say it, but I feel more sleepy and spent than a few months ago. It's a bad thing I know and trying to fix these bad. As of now there hasn't been much improvements. But I'm trying.

And then it matters to you. I would like to name AI as one of the biggest change makers of the first quarter. In a world of claude and ChatGPT, where we were convinced that AI is possibly the most expensive technology to ever exist and we need the hundreds of millions of dollars to train an AI to make it usable for the average. Joe, deepseek was a market disruptor. Showing the world at the same task can be done in a fraction of budget and on a fraction of processing power putting all those big Tech companies to shame. The day of deepseek release was a catastrophic day for the stock market because multiple trillions of dollars were wiped up just because of one announcement. Can't play. The Chinese are leading the AI race as they took everyone for surprise. And fingers crossed for where it leads.

 And if we shift our attention to geopolitics and the economy, then we will see that we had a front tick first quarter, especially due to the president of the United States. The world got to know about tariffs and how a billion dollar businessman and the head of a country which is arguably the number one in almost all important aspects, can lose his sanity over putting tariffs on different nations. And Is not hesitant to tank the international economy just to to stay in their own economy. Most of the investors are reaching towards China exactly for these few reasons. So along with the AI race, the US is also losing on a strategic partnership with a lot of countries of the world. Who would have thought that us will be so close to leaving NATO?

Lastly, I would like to touch on the tech side of things which most AI developers around us are buying. Graphics cards. Well actually they are unable to buy the latest Nvidia releases of this year whether we see people buying the older generation just because it has a better cooling system than its counterparts.

Overall 2025 isn't full of good news, but it is full of controversial news for both your and my country.
