A beautiful combination flowers and ants, invaluable friends of nature  Today's picture highlights a unique aspect our nature. We can see a swarm ants busy roaming among small yellowish flowers. Behind this small scene, there is a wonderful friendly relationship in nature - the coexistence of flowers and ants.    The small yellow flowers that are blooming have not yet fully bloomed. The flower buds look like stars small balls, which are hanging in clusters on the tree. On some these flowers, reddish-brown ants can be seen. Some of them are walking, some are standing and collecting tree sap or flower nectar. As beautiful as this scene is see, there is a silent process behind it maintain ecological balance. Many people do not know that ants not only search for food, but also play a role in the pollination process flowers. When they go from one flower to another, the pollen of the flower sticks their bodies and falls on another flower. This results in fruiting and reproduction on the tree. Although bees are more skilled in this task, ants can also help in pollination.   Another benefit ants is that they protect the tree by eating many harmful insects. The presence of ants on many trees acts as a natural defense system for the tree. If they are around the tree, many harmful insects do not dare to sit on the tree.
