This week's distributed profits are 0.804%, equivalent to an APR of 41.9% of delegated SP.

Profits have already been paid to SP delegators in STEEM.

## News

This week has seen our highest net return since testing the concept. The mixed strategy means we can manage fluctuating prices of STEEM and SBD. As the fund is priced in STEEM, we can deliver profits in STEEM whatever the USD exchange rate.

Our aim continues to be a distribution of 1% per week, equivalent to an APR of 52%. The fund itself has grown nicely in this past week but we still seek further delegated SP. I am aware that so much SP is currently going into the [bidbots](https://steemit.com/bidbots/@rycharde/the-next-generation-bidbots-a-proposal) and that their payouts are daily, but calculating the actual APR will show that the MAP Rewarder is close to the same level of profits, and makes a useful diversification of income.

Our own use of the bidbots is managed carefully as so many of them end up with deeply negative ROI. However, the increased exposure is proving useful. I also note some new regular upvoters of the @accelerator posts; knowing that we are likely to use a bidbot at some point means that curation rewards for followers of @accelerator may be higher than normal. Especially for existing [members of MAP](https://steemit.com/mapforum/@accelerator/how-to-join-the-map-community-minnows-accelerator-project) following @accelerator's upvotes can be a way to slowly increase curation rewards without committing any precious SP.

On the subject of upvotes, new Mapsters are currently receiving upvotes from my @rycharde account. A new, more flexible, upvote bot is in the pipeline but the current thinking is that such upvotes will come from the sister project @aakom once that account has sufficient voting power. This leaves the MAP Rewarder free to concentrate on income generation that can then be used to increase Mapster upvotes.

Next rewards distribution will be on Sunday 25 February.
