0.000 HBDLaughing at Microblogging Rewards? Think Again!
This is my second post on Leothreads in the past couple of days, and this one is actually not a rant. It's more of a "perspective-based thesis" on why being active on threads is not a waste of time. Don't laugh at the rewards you're currently earning through your microblogging because these micro earnings can turn into something significant in the future, both in terms of value and impact. I can't say exactly how much LEO was worth during the airdrop since I didn't join the community right away. I sometimes take my time to catch up. However, when I joined the @leofinance community, one LEO was valued at around $0.4. I'm willing to bet that soon after the airdrop, its value dropped below what it was when I joined. Don't ask me what I did with my airdrop LEO tokens because, to be honest, I think I dumped them. I must admit, I can be a bit impulsive at times. Anyway, my integration process with Leofinance started slowly, but at some point, I became so dedicated to this community that I became the highest-paid author on Leofinance for a week. I doubt I'll achieve that again, but at least I had my moment of glory. Most of my success on Leofinance at that time was due to the insane upvotes from @onealfa. For a couple of days, the price of LEO hovered around $1, and if I remember correctly, I managed to earn a few post payouts of over $50 in LEO, which was mind-blowing, to be honest. I wonder if I'll ever reach that personal record again. Time passed, the euphoria of the bull market faded, and LEO started to decline—and it declined hard. From a peak valuation of a bit over $1 (I believe the all-time high was around $1.20), it plummeted to around $0.03 a few months ago. That's quite a drop, if you ask me. But as anyone can see, LEO is now poised for a rebound. Apart from our regular blogging rewards, those of us who are active on #threads have the opportunity to earn additional LEO through microblogging. Currently, the rewards from such activity may seem insignificant—a couple of cents' worth of LEO won't grant anyone the financial freedom most of us aspire to in the crypto world. However... There's always a BUT. Just imagine how your earnings from Leothreads will look when LEO reaches a $1 valuation again, or even higher. According to the announcement by Khal a few weeks ago, LEO's inflation has been reduced, there are ad revenues used to buy back LEO from the open market, and other initiatives that guarantee LEO's ascent. Currently, you can only microblog "in exchange for micro earnings," but that is bound to change. My gut feeling tells me that the altcoin market is about to explode, as BTC dominance has seemingly reached its limit. Once altcoins start rallying, you can bet that LEO will follow suit. No one knows for sure how high it will go or whether it will outperform HIVE again, but as the price of the Hive L2 token appreciates, so will your microblogging rewards. This is when your microearnings might transform into "life-changing money." As I mentioned in my previous post dedicated to Leothreads yesterday, don't despair about collecting these rewards and treat Leofinance #threads with respect. That's all for now from my side. Wishing you all a great June 1st, and I'll see you all tomorrow. *Thanks for your attention,* *Adrian* Posted Using [LeoFinance Alpha](https://leofinance.io/@acesontop/laughing-at-microblogging-rewards-think-again)
