Crypto can be quite time and nerve consuming and when you thought you've found the perfect portfolio and you've put your hands on the best investing strategy, something happens... Some "external force" comes out of nowhere and screws everything. 

Throughout my crypto journey I have held, traded and invested in quite a bunch of coins and some have been profitable, some not, while quite a few have turned out to be true gems. HIVE being one of those. 

It's hard to stay away from this blockchain, it's taught me a lot and earned me even more, but when analyzing my long term portfolio, HIVE is quite at the bottom of it and it's such a shame... 

I've made a living out of this thing and in order to achieve that I had to literally sell pretty much everything that went into my wallet, HIVE, HBD, LEO and almost any HE token you can think of. It's not something I'm proud of or happy about, it is what it is.

A couple of days ago I watched a video of @taskmaster, I don't even remember the name, I guess it was about growth and compounding and stuff he's been preaching on for quite some time, stuff that I'm not good at, I admit it. 

I often times eat the cookie in front of myself rather than waiting for that second one that comes as a patience reward. This post inspired me to think long term on Hive/HIVE. It made me stop my long term power down and grow my HP stack. That and inflation. 

Looking at the rise in prices on almost every commodity you can think of you can easily realize fiat money is soon to become toilet paper. I have quite some "toilet paper" as such, held as savings, but for the time being I'm thinking in turning crypto into savings instead. Spending cash and saving crypto sounds legit right now and not the vice versa.

I have some Bitcoin, I own some alts, but I definitely don't own enough HIVE, thus I'm on a hustle for more and I will only use the liquid rewards that I get from now on for my living, supplementing for my needs with savings money, HP staying as it is and putting it into compounding mode... If I'm lucky I might even become a dolphin this year.

Even if that doesn't happen, HIVE sure feels like a good investment, you can't loose with it. At least that's the conclusion I've come to lately. It's a gold mine and it would be such a pity to spend it so soon. So yeah, I'm back to growing my account. How funny does that sound :)?
