Thoughts on POSH sponsoring Twitter blue to prominent Hive and POSH users?

Was having a discussion earlier tonight with @anomadsoul who recently launched a new initiative to reward some of the top content of the week from diverse communities after their posts get voted in through decentralized polls on @leofinance's Threads. Not sure how the discussion landed on it but I brought this idea up and to my surprise Elon Musk tweeted shortly after that Twitter Blue was now accessible world-wide which would give this idea more fairness.

Posting screenshot mostly to prove that I had the idea before Elon's news came out, maybe it's a sign it might be a good one!

So upon thinking a bit more about it, I was wondering what the best way forward would be to decide who'd get these $8 hbd/hive so it'd would have the most impact and theoretical "return of investment" for POSH thus Hive. Now don't get me wrong, there won't be any strings attached to those who get picked that they have to shill POSH or ramp up their Hive link sharing or anything. It'd mostly just be a way to amplify the work of those already doing good by getting the word of Hive out there in front of the masses in a respectable way onto related tweets.

So while we may not ask much of you in return other than keeping at it, we would like to note that if you're found being a bit too weird about it we may discontinue the sponsoring from our side.

The next question would be, how would we decide who to fund and how would we determine if it was worth it?

The former should be a bit easy, those currently with a lot of reach and a history of sharing links and discussing Hive on Twitter, we could have them apply for it by sharing their monthly analytics from https://analytics.twitter.com/ for instance, this would then also let us know how effective Twitter Blue was if the activity remained the same and they shared their stats after a month to compare. Although we're of course not discouraging those wanting to utilize the month of Twitter Blue as much as they'd like.

Then, bringing me back to the discussion with @anomadsoul, we could post the applicants on a Threads poll and have people vote with their accounts who they think should receive the sponsorship, starting with a few people early on and then maybe scaling it up if it looks to be worth it.

First of all, though, I'd wanna check with the readers to hear what they think of the idea, is it worth it, etc? The funding would come from @poshtoken and would be manageable, we're constantly looking to fund small things such as contests, giveaways, etc that may bring some more value to the Hive ecosystem in one way or another.

Thoughts?
