# Acro Pic of the Day  - How does this work!!??

With partner acrobatics there is many ways to be creative with someone else and their body.
We work together to make cool shapes and balance in unique ways. Once we master a particular skill or move, it is time to come up with something else new. The feeling of successes when working together with someone else is one of my favorite things about partner acrobatic. Partner acrobatics is a team effort. It takes both people working together to make cool things happen.

Recently I have been fascinated with this one arm handstand balance! I love it!! When it works right and I can feel the balance, it feels so amazing. Something about holding up someone over my head in one hand is such a neat feeling.
I am still amazed how it can actually work! It takes strength, balance, but mostly technique.

Technique is the primary thing with most acrobatic skills. You don't need to be crazy strong to do a lot of acrobatics. Of course strength does help with getting into some things, but finding the right technique is the key.

To find ease in these moves we must find the right alignment and stack. This helps use less muscular strength and relaying more on our bones stacking in place. Body awareness comes in time when practicing partner acrobatics. Knowing where you are in space is a huge factor to finding the right place to stack your bones and use less strength.
