<center></center> <center></center> <div class="text-justify"> At home very close, there is a special tree, not only for its rich fruits but also because it reminds me a lot of my mother, this tree is Avocado, also known as avocado tree, its scientific name is Persea americana, it is native to Central America and although I do not know how precious it is in the rest of the world, what I do know is that for Venezuelans its fruits are very desired and enjoyed. <center> </center> I will begin by pointing out that I do not know exactly how long this tree has been there, but I have an approximate of more or less 22 years, maybe more, because if I remember that approximately in 1997 in that place there was nothing, only grass. <center></center> A friend and neighbor says that this tree was planted by another neighbor, but I have my doubts, because of how jealous my mother was with this avocado tree, but it is likely that this neighbor gave it to her, because I know that on more than one occasion he gave plants to my mother because he knew how much she loved plants and gardening in general. <center></center> Now, this tree, which is quite tall, did not always bear fruit and my mother dedicated herself not only to irrigate it, but also to nourish this plant in other ways, in order to give us its rich avocados until she achieved it. Among the things she gave it to nourish it, I remember hearing her mention urea, potassium and other methods to make this tree what it is today. <center></center> This tree is special to me because of all those things I mentioned. I know how much my mother valued it and also how upset she was to see how other neighbors who didn't care about the tree at all, wanted its fruits as if they had taken care of the plant. <center></center> I remember that last year this tree gave many avocados some of them very, very big, it was funny to see how many of us avoided standing under the tree to prevent any avocado falling on our heads, this year I thought it would not bear fruit, because it was full of flowers, but I did not see anything else, but to my surprise I think it is more loaded than last year, as the days pass it has dropped prematurely some of its fruits, but I can say that happily I already ate the first avocado of this season and it was simply delicious. <center></center> As for the care I give it, I can say that during the dry season I watered the tree very well on weekends so that it would not feel thirsty, but I do not know, but I think maybe I got a little too much access and that is why it may be dropping its fruits. Comenzaré señalando que no sé exactamente cuánto tiempo tiene este árbol allí, pero tengo un aproximado de más o menos 22 años, tal vez más, porque si recuerdo que aproximadamente en 1997 en ese lugar no había nada, solo hierba. Una amiga y vecina dice que este árbol lo sembró otro vecino, pero yo tengo mis dudas, por como era mi madre de celosa con este aguacatero, lo que sí es probable que este vecino se lo regalara a ella, pues sé que en más de una oportunidad le obsequio plantas a mi madre porque sabía cuanto amaba las plantas y la jardinería en general. Ahora bien, este árbol que es bastante alto no siempre dio frutos y mi madre se dedicó a realizar diversas labores no solo de riego, también de nutrir a esta planta de otras maneras, para lograr nos diera sus ricos aguacates hasta que lo logró, entre lo que le suministro para nutrirlo recuerdo haberla escuchado mencionar la urea, potasio y seguir otros métodos para que este árbol sea lo que hoy es. Este árbol es especial para mí por todas esas cosas que mencioné. Sé cuánto lo valoraba mi madre y también lo molesta que se sentía al ver como otros vecinos que no se preocupaban para nada por el árbol, deseaban sus frutos como si ellos hubieran cuidado de la planta. Recuerdo que el año pasado este árbol dio muchos aguacates algunos de ellos muy, muy grandes, era gracioso ver como muchos evitábamos pararnos debajo del árbol para impedir nos cayera algún aguacate en la cabeza, este año creí que no daría frutos, porque estaba lleno de flores, pero no vi nada mas, pero para mi sorpresa creo esta mas cargado que el año pasado, a medida que pasan los días ha dejado caer de manera prematura algunos de sus frutos, pero puedo decir que felizmente ya comí el primer aguacate de esta temporada y estaba simplemente delicioso. En cuanto a los cuidados que le brindo, puedo decir que durante la época de sequía regaba muy bien el árbol los fines de semana para que no se sintiera sediento, pero no sé, pero creo que tal vez me accedí un poco y por ello puede estar dejando caer sus frutos.
