People often ask us what tokens will be listed on FICE. We decided to explain it using one good example.

Stellar or XLM, one of the largest cryptocurrency networks has become the first digital ledger technology or DLT protocol to obtain Sharia certification. The Sharia Review Bureau (SRB) had certified Stellar as a Sharia-compliant. Such certification will help grow the Stellar ecosystem in the region where financial services require compliance with Islamic financing principles.

The fact of obtaining this certificate is 100% guaranty that Stellar can be listed on FICE while the other cryptocurrencies can raise some question.

But Stellar isn’t the first cryptocurrency which has received Sharia compliance approval. Mufti Muhammad Abu Bakar, who also is an advisor of ADAB Solutions, recognized Bitcoin “generally permissible”.

It worth noting that ADAB Solutions has created its own Sharia Advisory Board (SAB) which consists of rather competent advisors in the field of Islamic financial law.

Before making a decision whether one or another coin is eligible for being listed on FICE or not SAB will conduct a deep analysis procedure.

The proportion of illegal (haram) elements should be very small in comparison with the main activities.
