To be frank, my last twenty four hours was so full of activities that if I decide to write on them, we will have to take three whole weeks to read. But I will be taking a little out of all my business yesterday to share with the house. Yesterday being Sunday was full of great activities for me. You know that when we talk about Sunday's, it is always a day for going to church and after that we move from one occasion to another. I was away from home since Friday night. We went for an outreach in a village, but I made a promise while going out for the outreach that I was going to come back early enough on Sunday to face the days activities. I had to look for a way to fulfill my promise. It was actually far from where I live. So, I had to go get a bike man that will carry me home as early as 5:am. The bike man also kept to his promise. He came by 5:am and we move straight to my house. The kids and my husband were surprised to see me that early. In fact I was the one that woke them up yesterday morning. MY REASON FOR COMING BACK THAT EARLY. A brother of mine was going for his child dedication that yesterday and he already told me to make sure that I will be available to prepare egusi soup for his guest. So, because I accepted to cook for him I had to come back to fulfill my promise. But you know the annoying part. Another Igbo lady came on Saturday night and volunteer to cook the same soup that Saturday night. I wasn't informed. On reaching there I saw that the soup has been made and I took all that risk of coming out that early just to make sure that I fulfill my promise. The man that is dedicating his child is like a brother to me. We have come along way with him even before he got married, so I thought to myself that I can't afford to disappoint him and his family. But when I came I saw something different from what I planned. I decided to go back home, though not too happy, but I helped him and his wife to cook up something in my head that may be responsible for what they did to me. I just concluded that maybe because they were carried away by all that they need to be prepared for the occasion, they forgot to call me and asked me not to come hence someone else has done the work that I was sopposed to do. But all that happened is still for my own good because I just did U-turn and went home to rest because I really needed the rest. I was happy that I kept my own promise even though I was not able to do the work which I was asked to do because someone else has done it. When I went home, I took my time to have a very good rest and began to prepare for the main occasion. I had to still go back to his house but 11 am when the main eating and drinking will take place. Hahaha 😄.  This image belongs to me.  You know that I don't joke with item seven. People had already gone ahead of me because I also had to prepare food for my family. Food was served and as usual I ordered swallow and egusi soup mixed with ogbono soup. It was accompanied with soft drink and chicken meat. I took my time and crushed everything that was given to me because I don't like people wasting food. Hahaha 😄. The food taste really nice and I enjoyed myself. I know that you are wishing that you were there. Don't worry when next we will be going for such occasion I will alert you, just get ready with your transport.  This image belongs to me.
