Yesterday I came across a tweet from polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal who announced in his tweet that polygon blockchain is now powering India's Firozabad District Police to fight crime and corruption in the local police department.

I think it is good news for the citizen of Firozabad in India, a district of more than 2.5 million inhabitants, to file a complaint on blockchain.

I know how bad we always feel if we ever become victims of injustice, there are many corrupt eggs in the government that have led many innocent people to prison, many rights have been jeopardize and the sinners go free. But this idea of ​​a first information report (FIR) on Portal allows the victim to file a complaint against any corrupt local police in the district without any manipulation.

The FIR goes directly to the polygon blockchain to ensure that the victim's reports are not denied or manipulated by the officers.
Projects like this will now make complaints immutable and this will be a game changer to bring out the bad eggs in Firozabad district police by guaranteeing the right to justice to the citizen.


Nailwal said the project was close to his heart as he grew up with many stories of victims being denied justice due to corruption in the local police.

He went on to say; FIR allows people to get an online platform with their identity and register a complaint to blockchain which no low-level officer can deny FIR.

The announcement of Firozabad IPS Ashish was good news for the citizens of Firozabad everywhere and it will ensure transparency and easy registration of any crime.
