The Features That Makes Me to be Me.

Coming across the prompt by Leo finance, I begin to wonder well since it is about it. It should definitely be ways to right as everyone love talking about themselves. But sitting down just to meditate on it, I discovered it can really be a bit difficult compiling everything I loved about myself but well I did the best I can and in this post, I will definitely be taking you along. Stay tuned.

Let me even first start with my best feature that has earn me massive praise and attract people to my life: which is my sense of humour. If you are a Nigerian guy, I think one of your criteria is to be funny most especially when you discover that you live in a society that Nigerians can make jokes from anything, I mean anything at all. Well, permit me to pride in myself in this aspect as I am actually able to lighten modes. The occasion will not stop me to showcase my sense of humour whether it is cracking some funny jokes at a family meeting or just turning a tense atmosphere into a hilarious one.

This sense of humour like I said earlier has earned me quality relationship in my life as everyone wants to associate or be around the funny guy. I can remember vividly, SS2, I was actually planning to pursue comedy as a career but due to Nigerian parent hindrances, you dare not mention it to them that the career you will like to go for is comedy, I am talking about ten years ago now that comedy is trending everywhere.

If you happens to find yourself in a country like Nigeria, one of the trait that you will develop whether you like it or not is resilence. Having resilence as a Nigerian is rooted in our DNA and I can testify to that. The second feature I will like to talk about of course is my resilence. Looking back over the years, I can say I am proud of myself in overcoming some certain setbacks all across the aspect of my life. Writing JAMB over 3 times before finally getting admission to the university, dealing with the rough university life both academically and financially, definitely my resilience spirit has helped greatly and it is a necessary feature everyone must have most especially if you are a Nigerian.

Well I am still thinking, should I actually call this a feature? Of course yes. Moving to the third feature is my ability to eat like a champion. Of course this is one of the feature that made me to be me. This might sound so absurd but the truth is I have deep affection and appreciation for food. You are actually permitted to call me a foodie though but not that aspect along. This feature does not only talk about my love for food when it comes to eating alone, but also to understand the art of making delicious meal. Quite a pity I can't include some of my sample here in this post, probably someday. One of the strong factor that connect us together in Nigeria is food. I have seen it work several times and will see it continue to work.

The next feature about me that I will like to talk about is my No wahala attitude. Most of the time, people have misinterpreted this feature to mean I am Melancholic, Introvert, Secretive or reserved but the truth is, it is none of the above. Life sometimes can really be demanding and over the years, one of the things that one must not joke with is peace of mind. I love returning back to my shell instantly whenever I sense trouble coming. This has greatly helped to influence how I interact with people. I am quite selective on people I interact with so as to avoid unnecessary drama. Lastly, these particular features have helped me to overcome challenges several times as it has helped me to be calm even when faced with difficult situations in my life.

Then certainly the last one I will like to talk about before concluding is my love for family and friends. This particular features have been my support system for many years and will still continue to. One of the things I have come to value so much in my life are relationships. Relationship with my families and friends. Trust me, they have been my greatest support system. We have shared together both memories of great time and moments both the difficult ones and the easy ones. Spending time with them is what I don't take for granted and so far, I have cherished every moment I have shared with them together.

This post was inspired by the #inleo community and my entry to the #octoberinleo monthly prompt day 4. Feel free to check it out and participate.
