# <center> Bitcoin Flipped!</center>

A lot of people probably saw this too, as evidenced by the many tweets, that Bitcoin has finally been flipped.  It wasn't even Ethereum that did the job, not BNB or even Tether (which would have been actually sensible amidst all the FUD), but a certain token with a trading volume of only five dollars in the past 24 hours 😂

What sorcery is this?  At the point of posting this, you can still see it in Coingecko. Not only has it flipped bitcoin, it now has nearly five times the market cap!  Not bad for an ERC20 token for a relatively new *"crypto exchange platform"* that doesn't appear to be doing anything yet.  Moreover, the have been no trades in the past few hours.  


So, obviously, this is some kind of data error.  I can only imagine how happy the owners of this project are right now.  The free publicity they are no doubt receiving right now must be a godsend.  Apart from the eyeball they're getting on Coingecko, there's also the thousands of tweets, YouTube videos, and blog posts such as this one.

PS:  I took a quick look at Coinmarketcap after writing this post above just to see. Curiously enough, Ethereum is number 1 over there. Bitcoin is nowhere to be seen.  I don't use CMC at all so this may be how coins are displayed over there.  "All coins minus BTC".  Is that right or is there a glitch there too?
