<div class="text_justify">Hello, kind readers. It ends this year. I'm sure it's been a great year for many, but not for others. In the end we just have to make a balance with all that we have gained this year and all that we have lost. I imagine that could be a good individual post to close the year. For my part, I think it would be great to write about some of the goals we could set for next year.

 In Come, Pray, Love, there is a moment in which you can appreciate the following quote: "We are content to live unhappy because we are afraid of change and that everything is reduced to ruins". Changing our daily routines can create an existential dilemma. Normally, at the end of each year we make a list of purposes that we know we are not going to fulfill. That if I am going to register in the gym, that if I will stop smoking, drinking or eating junk food, that if I will register in an English course, that I will try to travel; and thus we make an endless list without any real vision of what we can or want to do.

The objectives that we decide to write in our list have to be "attainable", that we can carry out without so much sacrifice, that they make us feel satisfied, that we see them as a motivating personal challenge, that they depend on us and that we do them because we like them. Seen in this way, we can surely not only set ourselves excellent goals, but achieve them as 2019 progresses. I propose you 5 objectives, easy to achieve and that will surely comfort your soul. Let us begin:

You can target a number of books per month, but also walk through literary genres that you may not like. Also, visiting a bookstore is a good plan. Going to bookstores is a good exercise for books to find you, talk to you. Sometimes you don't look for a book and it appears, they recommend it to you, you see it, it's love at first sight. Try to read, but with passion, not out of obligation, but out of necessity and desire. Feel that the stories catch you and you are like a leaf in the wind when you reach the end of the book. Do not give opportunity to books that do not catch you, like loves, must be love at first sight, catch you, stay awake with what he tells you and makes you see. Reading will give you the certainty not only to know more, but to have the feeling of having lived longer. Remember, it's never enough of that thing we're passionate about.

### Meet new people

I love this idea. The gifts of the universe are not material: they are people. So take the time to get to know them. Not only personally, we can also meet people through networks. They don't have to become great friends, or be people who share our tastes and customs. Just know, talk, share ideas. There are people who smell the books we like, the tastes they provoke, the feelings we long for. Surely this kind of relationship will open doors in our minds and hearts. May we not lack this year those people with whom any moment becomes special. Let there be no lack of people who trust you, even when you do not. Remember that it is never too late for what is true and that love is a verb that only exists if it is demonstrated.

### Trust Yourself More and Take Risks

Look in the mirror and stop thinking you're someone else's reflection. You are the best version of yourself. We must see what makes us unique and find peace. Read to each other and know that we have erasures, parentheses, but also colors, unique lines. It is not only to know our defects, it is to be aware of our virtues. Not letting ourselves be what we are, just because others want to be. To lose oneself is one of the greatest nostalgia. So in our curriculum of life let us put our merits and our falls, let us show our war wounds, that there has never been a sailor without a storm or a cook without a burn. Set new goals, things you wouldn't dare do out of fear or sadness. Sing, even if you sing out of tune, tell a joke and laugh out loud even if others don't; but also invest and take risks, perhaps in cryptographic coins, in new loves, in changes of house. I would like to think that just as the earth is constantly moving and evolving, so are we.

### Do something new

Skin is not fooled by routine, so let's try new things this year. Let's get out of our comfort zone, out of what we always do because they're familiar. In the previous purpose I was telling you that we might consider being more risky. Then it would be a good start to do activities that perhaps have caught our attention, but that we have not done. It doesn't have to become your new hobby, but you can do it once and that's it. Try, do, feel events or new things. There are many things out there that haven't been released. Gifts that life gives us but that we don't open because we are afraid or just feel we don't deserve. Maybe you've never dared to eat spicy, taste a beer, bake a cake, dance salsa, and then do it. What's stopping you? If it goes wrong, if you don't like it, then at least you have the experience you've tried this year and you've done something new.

### Write it all down

Our faces change when we are children, our bodies change when we are young, our souls change when we are adults. Writing your day to day can be a good therapeutic exercise, to relieve the mind, to breathe another air, to see each other with other eyes. When we write, we feel again, we draw feelings; it's like cleaning the house: if we do it daily, no cobwebs accumulate. Make writing your nascent way of escape, your new hobby. That's going to be good, because by writing you're making a window into your heart. Buy yourself or make a notebook, leave it next to your bed and there, at the end of the day, write down the most important things that have happened to you. And if nothing has happened to you, also write about that routine that sometimes wants to beat us. How about sending a letter? Those written with a pencil and on paper, and where you leave your scent. Never forget that sometimes we write for a living, but we also do it so as not to die in the thoughts of others.

In short, that in every list of purposes that we do not figure fear, nor sadness nor loneliness. Let any goal or objective not be a chain but the keys to freedom. Remember to have your feet on the ground next year, but your eyes in the sky; that life is too short to waste in any war and that hopefully life will bring us everything beautiful that we let escape. Now uncover that bottle of wine that you have pending and health.
