**June 11, 2017 in the Russian Taganrog took place enchanting event. The spectators were expecting a real knight tournament. Both newcomers and venerable knights from the clubs "Tana-Sich" and "Galitsky  Yard" participated in the fight. They staged demonstration performances and sword competitions in the nomination "Shield-sword".**

The action was very bright and colorful, and completely recreated the atmosphere of medieval battles. The tournament was held on the sports ground of the shopping center "Marmalade".

The guys from military-historical clubs recreated the era of 13-14 centuries. Cloak of armor, combat swords and shields have become an integral part of the tournament. On an improvised battlefield, knights converged without fear.

The program of the event was rich. Spectators could see fascinating mass individual battles, handicraft master classes on weaving and blacksmithing, a tournament on traditional wrestling, a master class on Russian wrestling on hands.

Also for all comers, a shooting gallery was opened, where you could not only choose your favorite among the nominees for the prize, but also personally participate in the battles of the archers. There was a real field kitchen, so nobody stayed hungry.

In addition, all spectators were offered tours of the medieval camp and horseback riding. The whole day there was a playground for the young and adult guests of the festival, and the entrance was free. In the course of the tournament, a lot of interesting things were told from the history of the club and about weapons and enthusiasts. By the way, knights from different regions of the Rostov region and even the Crimea took part in the tournament.

And in the evening the sports festival continued. In the shopping center the event "Sports Giants" was held, within the framework of which demonstration performances of sportsmen and open cross-training were organized.
