0.000 HBDMY SONG OF THE WEEK
<center> *[source](https://youtu.be/h1CryRcV98E)* </center> I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. Usually, I listen to a song more than twice before getting glued to it, but this one caught me right from the first tone. This isn't a new song. It's a very popular one. If you haven't listened to it, you can download it right now. Trust me, you wouldn't regret doing that. Havana is a city, it is named after a famous cigar produced in Cuba. It's the capital of Cuba and known as one of the oldest city in the America. Technically, the title is all about a place, but the whole song isn't centered on it. Several lyrics were generated to rhyme with it. Check out the chorus: *Havana, ooh na-na* *Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh-na-na* *He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na* *Oh, but my heart is in Havana* *There's somethin' 'bout his manners* *Havana, ooh na-na.* I felt like going to Havana after listening to this song the first time. It looked like it will be a great city with so much fun. Well, from the chorus, we can conclude Camila Cabello is in love with someone from Havana. I'd have settled for the city if she didn't use "his" in the fifth line. In fact, her first verse gave it away. *He didn't walk up with that "how you doin'?" (When he came in the room)* *He said there's a lot of girls I can do with (But I can't without you)* *I knew him forever in a minute (That summer night in June)* *And papa says he got malo in him* *He got me feelin' like* After doing some background research on her, I found out Cuba is her home country and the song is memories of what happened there. She traveled a lot when she was young. She moved from Cuba, Havana to Mexico, until she finally settled in Miami. I was right, too. She fell in love with a boy there and all the "his" she mentioned in the song is all about him. The rhythm actually made this song dope and Young Thug made it cool, too. Here is some parts of what Thug had to say. *Jeffery* *Just graduated, fresh on campus* *Fresh out East Atlanta with no manners, damn!* *Bump on her bumper like a traffic jam* *Hey, I was quick to pay that girl like Uncle Sam (here you go, ay)* *Back it on me, shawty cravin' on me* *Get to diggin' on me (on me)* *She waited on me (then what?)* *Shawty cakin' on me, got the bacon on me (wait up)* *This is history in the makin' on me (on me)* *Point blank, close range, that be* *If it cost a million, that's me (that's me)* *I was gettin' mula, man they feel me.* Okay, I don't know if Young Thug was talking about the boy Cabello fell in love it, but his verse is also dope. He flowed with the rhythm and did a perfect job. Havana is one of the best songs last year. It topped a lot of billboard charts and is still in the Playlist of many. I couldn't get enough of it last week and that's why it's topping my list now. Enjoy this and don't forget to download if you haven't listened to it. *Camilo Cabello ft Young Thug - Havana.* See you this time next week for another song.
