# This past weekend I played golf with my father.

Though it was not the best rounds of golf I ever played, it still was quite enjoyable.

It was just the two of us and it happened to take place during the final round of the Masters so the golf course was basically empty.

We went around the course in about 3 hours time, which is about 25% faster then you can normally expect a round of golf to take.

The cost wasn't bad either at $37 a person.

# A little about the match:

After the first 9 holes we were within 1 shot of each other.

On the back 9 though that is when things started to get a little less interesting, at least for me.

After 3 shots in the water and feeling like Sergio Garcia, it was pretty clear that my father was going to run away with it.

In my defense he also plays about 5 times per week.

I play about 5 times per year.

So there is that...

# More than just golf.

Overall though it was about so much more than the golf. It was fun just getting out there and spending time with family.

A few months from now I won't remember what scores we shot that day but I remember how I felt out there spending quality time with my dad in the warm sunshine.

Get out there and enjoy time with family members, you never know how many more chances you will get.
