Foods craving is an enemy for those who want to lose weight. Sugar cravings are not only dangerous for people on diet but also people who aren’t. Sugar or carbohydrate cravings can be noticed everywhere in every person. Whether you want to cut down your weight or to start a new healthy lifestyle you should stop eating sugar, which is not as easy as it sounds but not as difficult as you think. To stop your enemy to attack you, you must understand him very well. You should look into his strengths and weaknesses. The same strategy applies here. You should understand how it works and how it damages your system. As we know, sugar is a refined extract from sugarcane. One should know the effect on bloodstream, insulin and brain. When you eat sugar your brain releases dopamine, which is the primary neurotransmitter, thereby increasing addiction. In earlier days, people would hunt and eat as there is no cultivation like now. They want more energy to run and hunt animals, for that they eat food with more calories. This strategy is still engraved in our brain that even without running or hunting for food, we still crave for sugar. Eating more calories is OK for humans of that time, but since we occupy our time more at office doing no physical workout, we should stop eating those many calories of sugar. A balanced diet consists of a significant amount of protein, healthy fats and fiber. These play a crucial role if you want to stop your food cravings. You can get more protein from chicken breast, eggs, and milk or fermented milk products. Healthy fats can be included by adding avocados, seeds, and coconut oil. Chia seeds, fruits and vegetables are a good source of fiber. Add these items every day in your meal to get maximum health benefits with lesser addiction to sugar. Along with the balanced diet, you need to take a break from all sugar candies to go inside in your tummy. Take a nice break that suits your addition. Take a break of at least one week to understand how addicted you are to sugar. While eating balanced diet along with not having sugar improves your resistance towards sugar cravings. A physiological restriction is essential no matter what you are starting. You may feel weak in the earlier period, but gradually you can see an improvement in your health when you stop eating sugar. Remember “The more you eat the more your body starts to crave it”.
