*Kodak did something that a lot of people may really be amazed thinking wait, **whats going on**? So if you haven't heard today, we are going to get something from Kodak, that's essentially  they announced it yesterday and they are going to launch it today on January 10, 2018.*

>### *And that is going to be the KodakOne platform and KodakCoin. Now the hot buzzwords are basically on cryptocurrency and saving up into that kind of world, and they are essentially creating a cryptocurrency for creatives, photographers.*

So it's actually a very cool idea, Kodak is creating a cryptocurrency just you know out of the blue. They are going to create a platform that will help photographers and creatives in regards to protecting rights.

It's going to be a new blockchain in cryptocurrency aimed at creatives photographers and it's going to be a partnership between Kodak and WENN. `WENN is a celebrity and entertainment news agency.` 

The goal according to them is that it is to create an imaging rights platform, that's the KodakOne platform, there's going to be a website which will release today on January 10, 2018.

> ## It is a new economy for photo that photographers will upload their photos and will be licencing their work and receive their earnings in this currency by getting a sale.

It's a secure blockchain that will allow all this to happen. So if you have something new, old and if it sell or however moves, you can gain this cryptocurrency to get paid for your work. 

In January 31st, 2018, a couple of weeks from now, the ICO (Initial Coin Offering), will open up to accredited investors in the US, UK, Canada and other locations as well. That will be the first place where you will find what could be the value of it and how it is going to work and what you could expect from something like this. And I guess from there we will see what it will be for the public.

### *`Well, if it succeed or not, but one thing is for sure, that this blockchain technology behind cryptocurrencies is attracting some new giants to the field. Kodak is jumping in too and let me tell you, wait for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to embrace this technology soon too ;)`*
