We saw Bitcoin drop under `$8,000` today and we also saw the other top cryptocurrencies in the red.

Now Verge is one of the very few big ones that's actually in the green today and this of course is due to it's campaign to raise `75 Million XVG`, that's around `03 Million US Dollars`.

Now, the situation didn't look so promising yesterday but apparently token pay saved the day as it matched donations up to `50 Million.`

Verge actually managed to raise `76.2 million XVG tokens`.

As a result we witnessed some positive movement with XVG. It gained over `20%` over the past 24 hours but we are still waiting to find out about the mystery partner.

The Litecoin foundation posted on it's website yesterday that they were contacted by the CEO of Litepay informing them that he has solved all operations and it's preparing to sell the company. 
The creator of Litecoin Charlie Lee posted on Twitter.

> We got too excited about something that was too good to be true and we optimistically overlooked many of the warning signs.

San Francisco based exchange Coinbase is trying to support Etherium ERC20 technical standard in the coming months.
