Steem with its booming price at the start of the year 2018 is now a hot topic for all of us, and some websites are also writing about Steem and it's price predictions in the future.

I want to share with you guys some predictions from these websites and you can also have your analysis reading that.

# My Analysis

Well, in my opinion, these predictions are based on Steem overall performance, which includes ***Metric score, Major exchanges trading activity, Source code repository activity, Social Media and discussion board.***

Walletinvestor.com also is confirming that Steem is a good long-term investment and that Steem has the potential to go up in the future. They predicted it's price in 2022 to be around `11 USD`, which I am not agreeing with. 

We all know that Steem is a long-term investment and it has pretty much good potential to grow more in the coming future as it has shown at the start of 2018. I believe that Steem will cross `$20` by the end of 2018, and I will tell you why I am claiming or assuming it.

Steem is different from other cryptocurrencies because people mine those cryptocurrencies (like bitcoin etc), for themselves and you know that it requires much effort and cost to do that. But in case of Steem, people can easily earn it by ***posting content or curating*** on its social media platform Steemit.com. And on the other hand, some readers find those content really helpful, so you can say, it's a **Win-Win situation".**

Smart Media Tokens (SMT) announced recently was also an amazing addition in strengthening Steem. Other websites like @busy.org, @dtube, @utopian-io etc are also adding to the strength of Steem. 

I personally am really much hopeful about the success of @dtube which is introduced by @heimindanger and his awesome team including @hightouch, @superkoala, @mkt, @nannal, @thekyle. I am seeing really much potential in @dtube and in the coming future, I see @dtube to be the biggest strength of Steem.

So, with all these facts, that I have presented to you guys, it gets a bit clear that how Steem could be performing in the coming future. And I am really much hopeful and clear about a good future that is waiting for Steem ahead.
