Greetings!

<div class="text-justify">
It is nice playing GU again after a five-day hiatus while observing Lenten Season. The last time that I played was April 1, 2023 (Saturday) before I and my family would embark on a 6-hour journey to a place where we observed the Lenten Season and swam on a beach before on the last day of our vacation before getting back home. After getting back home I took some rest from the long travel before playing GU once again. It took me one CASUAL game to feel the game and then I went on to play the "daily play & earn", I got a nice start by winning five out of ten games.

This edition of "Daily Play & Earn" to me is a little bit weird because my last opponent that uses Divine Coronet is from the domain of Magic. I do not know if this is the first time that I got to battle a Magic deck that uses Divine Coronet instead of the typical Magic deck archetype.

<div class="text-justify">
Without further ado, here are the gameplays of this edition of daily play & Earn...

# Victory #1 - versus Aggro War

<div class="text-justify">
Before this Daily Play & Earn, I got a hard time beating any war deck but for some reason, I was able to win 66% percent of my matches in this edition of Daily Play & Earn. In this match, my starting hand is Black Jaguar, Firewine, and Bladefly. I drew Wild Hog on my first turn. Just like what I am accustomed to I play aggressively by playing Black Jaguar on my first turn. My opponent was able to clear my board and I responded by playing Wild Hog and summoning a Confused Badger. My opponent cleared by the board using Wold-cut Vanguard and I responded by playing Bladefly. My opponent opted to go face and let one Bladefly live. On my next turn, I used Lightning Strike to get rid of my opponent's Wolf-cut Vanguard. Then on five mana, I was able to build a wall of four cards on my board while my opponent has one. Then on six mana I was not able to clear my opponent's board because of my confused creature going rogue, they attack not the intended targets. Still, at six mana I was lucky to keep five creatures on my board while my opponent has none, giving me my first victory.

# Victory #2 - versus Midrange War

<div class="text-justify">
Here's another match versus a war deck, to be honest, I am expecting to lose this match but the opposite happens. My starting hand in this match is consisting of Marshwalker, Wild Hog, and Frenzied RItual. I drew The Hunt on my first turn. I played aggressively in this match (as always) by playing Wild Hog and Masrshwalerk on my first turn. My opponent responded by playing Odi. On my third turn, I was able to kill Odi, at this moment I got four creatures on my board while my opponent has one which I was able to clear while I got four creatures on my board after my turn. On my fourth turn I played a frenzied ritual to clear my opponent's board while I retained three creatures on my board to which my opponent was able to kill two by playing Orcish Elite, on my next turn I played Bladefly. On my fourth turn, I was lucky to draw Vicious Manticore. On my sixth turn, I was at a disadvantage but luckily I got The Hunt on my hand and I used it to clear my opponent's board, in turn, my opponent responded by playing Valkas's Axe but because I got Nefarious Briar on my hand I was able to destroy it. At seven mana I got two cards on my board while my opponent has none, my opponent gambled by using Savage Strike on my two cards to which none was killed. At seven mana I got three cards on my board while my opponent got one. At eight mana I am again able to clear my opponent's board while I got three confused badgers. My opponent try to wrestle for control of the board by playing White Fur Guard, it is a good thing that I drew Canopy Barrage and I used it to kill White Fur Cuard on my way to another victory.

# Victory #3 - versus Aggro War

<div class="text-justify">
In this match, I am going first, and just like what I like to do I played two cards on my first turn (Wild Hog and Marshwaller). My opponent responded with two cards also. I was able to clear my opponent's board while keeping both Marshwalker and Wild Hog on my board. On my second turn, I played Penumbra Howler and on my third turn, I got four creatures on my board while my opponent has none. On my fourth turn, I played Firewine to buff all four creatures to further inflict more face damage on my opponent making the HP of my opponent only 10. On my firth turn, I got five creatures on my board while my opponent has none, and proves to be the turning point of the match giving me my third victory.

# Victory #4 - versus Aggro Deception

<div class="text-justify">
Whenever I get to play a Deception deck I make sure not to overplay cards because of Rapture Dance. Fast forward to the third turn, I played BLadefly in addition to Black Jaguar. After my third turn, my opponent responded by playing cards that reduce strength but there are three cards left on my board, then I played Vicious Manticore and I was able to reduce my opponent's board into a single card while I got four. In response, my opponent played a hidden card but I was lucky to have Canopy Barrage in my hand and I used it to kill the hidden creature. On six mana I was able to clear my opponent's board using The Hunt while I got to retain two Bladefies and a Confused Badger on my board. I buffed all my creatures using Wildfire. At six mana I was still in control of the board by using Canopy Barrage on a single hidden card on my opponent's board and at the end of my turn I got four cards on my board while my opponent has none but my opponent responded by clearing my board using Rapture Dance but I was lucky to have Revivification on my board giving me a slight advantage on the number of cards. At seven mana I got three creatures on my board that I buffed with Wildfire and I used Valkas's Discovery to unhide both of the hidden creatures on my opponent's board helping me to clear my opponent's board while I got one creature. Still, at seven mana I played a 3/3 Battle Aurichs and Black Jaguar in response to my opponent's Switch Duelist. At eight mana I was lucky to draw VIcious Manticore which I used to further inflict face damage on my opponent and a the end of the turn I got three creatures on my board while my opponent has none, in response my opponent played Guild Enforcer which put me in an unfavorable situation. But I noticed that my opponent has now a card on hand so I just went on to trade Vicious Manticore and Vanguard Axewoman to make the Guild Enforcer into 3/(1)1. I nearly made a mistake on my next turn by nearly using Poison Dart on Guild Enforcer but I was lucky to notice it. At eight mana I was lucky to draw Lightning Strike, I immediately used it to kill Guild Enforcer. Still, at eight mana I found myself in an unfavorable situation, my opponent got three creatures on the board while I got none, it is a going thing that I draw Revivificaiton giving me some hope. Still, at eight mana, my opponent cleared my board, I drew Bladefly on the next turn, further giving me hope to salvage a win. At the end of my opponent's turn, I got three creatures on my board while my opponent has one which I was able to destroy using Lightning Strike on my way to another hard-earned victory.

# Victory #5 - versus Control Magic

<div class="text-justify">
This match is by far the weirdest match that I can possibly remember. According to GUdecks this deck that I am up against is a Control Magic deck but I hardly see any control cards being played, the one thing that I noticed is that my opponent uses a Divine Coronet card. But it was unfortunate because I was not able to record the beginning of this match because of my forgetfulness. The recording begins at eight mana, I got five creatures on my board while my opponent just played City Planner. It is a good thing that I got Firewine on my hand and I used it to mitigate City Planner, at the end of my turn I was able to clear my opponent's board while I still got five creatures on my board. In response, my opponent played Snowshaper Pallas and Serris, Arbiter of the Trial, I gambled by playing Sudden Bloom, and it worked, giving me my fifth victory in ten matches.
