HiveCast is a distributed mobile app (dapp) that runs natively on android and ios, accesses only web3 servers (activitypub protocol), utilizes minio seeds p2p and lokinet connectivity for privacy. HiveCast operates similar to the pluto tv or youtube mobile apps, BUT instead of relying on a centralised source for the streaming media, HiveCast connects to hundreds of different Hive-Tube sites so that you can upvote, comment on, and tip the video/podcast/media creators of your Favorite channels. **Also, as a FOSS dapp, it can be customized any way you wish.** The UI/UX is nearing beta now, and will be plugged in to the Hive blockchain near the end of this year.
