City park hunting for mushrooms on the ground
November is certainly a good month for mushroom hunting. And one doesn't have to go very far to find plenty. I recently went to get my daily steps to a nearby park in the city I live in, phone in hand and eyes on the ground looking around. I found *a lot* of mushrooms in a relatively small area! Here are some photos of the ones growing on soil. Most of them grow near trees, which should be a good hint that the species could be establishing a symbiotic relationship with the tree ๐Ÿ˜‰.

For identification, I used the Android app 'Mushroom Identify', which is subscription based, but has a 7-day free trial. Pretty cool to be able to identify the species based on photos only ๐Ÿ˜Ž.
