One of the things I love the most about being a graphic designer is the fact that I'm always being pushed to learn new things and expand my horizons, even if that means completely sucking at first. I'm pretty sure you've seen thousands of inspirational quotes written in pretty fonts around the Internet, and in case you were wondering, that's called lettering. To be more specific, lettering is **"the creation of hand-drawn letters to apply to an object or surface"** — *thanks, Wikipedia*. This means, as long as you are forming letters, regardless if they are worthy of being published on Pinterest or not, you are doing lettering. ______ ____ I've wanted to learn more about this incredible type of drawing for years now but I guess I was somewhat scared of making a mess, until I started reading and educating myself, and as it turns out is really quite easy once you pick up the fundamentals. You will notice in the video that I'm not at that stage yet. I apologize if there are any pros out there watching this video right now, I am fully aware that I suck. But hopefully, I won't suck in a near future if I keep practicing, and besides, you gotta start somewhere, right? Hope you like it! Tips and recommendations are always welcomed! _____ Created with Procreate App in iPad Pro + Apple Pencil
▶️ DTube
▶️ IPFS
