I love to keep myself busy. However, sometimes I need to slow down. I work in the tech sector, so naturally I have to constatly be up-to-date with technology. How do I do this? I don't know and I can honestly say I am really not always as up-to-date as I would love to. Keeping yourself busy is a good thing tho. I think the brain needs to be stimulated and you will not leave room for things that are really not important. My average time spent on social media - according to my TWO instagram accounts (yes, **two**) - is actually 2 min. You might think this is not such a big deal. Well, imagine that these type of technologies are actually built up to make you addicted to them. Therefore, an avergae of 2 min per day is actually very good. You might be asking to yourself. What is she doing then? Well, right now I am actually trying to successfully graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences' Negotiation program, which I have to confess it is not as easy as I thought. I am in Lesson 3 (half way) and this week has been very tough. Apart from than, I am trying to do my job as possible building tech which is out of my expertise area. On top of that, I am certifying myself in Azure technologies. Hive blog is like my aside project. Today I made an amazing query to determine the top followed users on hive per day. I think the result will be insane and I would like to update you on that shortly. Something that I am learning from nregotiation class is that we have different negotiation styles that are domiinated by different areas and one of them is the emotional state. You can imagine it raanges from positive to negative to rational. I am generally a very emotional person and I fluctuate from extremely negative to extremely positive in just a day - disclaimer I am NOT bipolar just emotional. I think keeping up yourself busy makes you combat negative feelings and generally have a more poisitve view on things, and one of the reasons why I do it. On top of this, I think being busy makes me more energetic and productive. Plus since I am switching from task to task it also helps with the creative process, which I think it is very important specially when writing new content ;) And you? Do you keep yourself busy?
