**OI File Manager:**
OI file manager is a application which has a really simple user interface and it is very user friendly.
It is very easy to use and get use to.
I have been using OI file manager for quiet sometime and i can say that this is one of the Best File Manager which is available on android.
It is an open source application and its source code is available on github
and the app is available on Google Play Store as well as F-Droid.
i would like to make a few suggestions for this app
starting with
# Suggestions:
**1.Recycle Bin:**
We all are familiar with a recycle bin and its features.
recycle bin is usually a feature which we have on desktop through which we recover the files we delete by mistake or unknowingly and now smartphone is no exception.
this is a very important feature that i would like this file manager to have
as we all know that sometimes we delete a few files unintentionally and we regret it late.
but if this app has a recycle bin then even if we unknowingly delete some files they will still be there in recycle bin and we can recover it.
Now in today's world we do most of the work from smartphone and don't use desktop or laptop much and most of the files are in our smartphones which includes some of our important work files
and mostly pictures and videos we take of family and friends etc.

### Benefits:
if you have a recycle bin you can recover your files easily.
now we all know that there are kids in every house playing with phones
not knowing what to do and delete a few important files we can recover them using recycle bin
**For example:**

As you can see in above picture that is the recycle bin which will contain the files you deleted or got deleted you can either recover it or delete it permanently from there.
Just as an example i deleted one video file and it is there in recycle bin that means the file i didn't loose the file completely and i can still recover it or delete it if i want to.
as you can see there is a clear all button if you recover the files you need and delete rest of the files in recycle bin you can do it with clear all button and you don't have to select all files manually that will save you some time.
Having a recycle bin feature in this file manager will be really great to recover file.
We don't have to worry about loosing files.
I would really like to see this feature in future.

**2.Windows:**
When we are using a file manager we have to open all the folders to search for one particular file
and then go back to the main screen of file manager.
If we wanna look up photos,downloads or apps. 
we have to open folders and check them up and the navigate back to the file manager main screen, which is really time consuming.
so i would really like it if this file manager has windows like when ever you open a directory it is opened in a new window or sort of like tabs in that way you wont have to navigate to the home screen of file manager something like this.

### Benefits:
As you can see for each directory you open its opened in a separate window which is really handy
like Home screen is in a separate window Download,Apps and SD Card all these directories are opened  in different windows and we wont have to navigate back to the main screen of the file manager we can just choose home option from the windows or just tap clear all and you will be on file managers main screen you can add as many windows as you can and it will save you a lot of time from navigating from folder to folder and coming back to the main screen this feature is really handy.
Having this windows or new tab option in file manager will make the use of file manager even more easy and less complicated.
Plus it'll save a lot of time and energy.
And as you can see you can even customize windows more like u can save the directories and when even you open window option it will be there and you can just tap on it and your there
or you can just tap on default and it'll just be home and you can still open folders as different windows and still clear all of them
this feature would make navigation on file manger much easier.
i would really like to see this feature in future.

**3.Storage Analyzer:**
We have soo many files in our phones which we don't even have idea about
which are occupying so much space of your storage.
Not only that but also we download a lot of stuff which we mostly don't use but ends up Occupying space. 
we are running out of storage in our smartphone and then we have to delete some of the files.
but we end up deleting files which we use to make room for other file we wanna store.
so Storage Analyzer is a very important feature a file manager should have
something like.

### Benefits:
As you can see in the above picture the storage analyzer give all the information you need about what all files are there and what files are occupying space and etc.
it even provides a pie chart of storage percentage and files stored in exact amount.
like in the picture .
You can see that it is showing,
how many Pictures you have Videos,Documents,Apps,Audio and Other files which are using up there in your smartphone using up storage.
As you can see i don't have to search for the file it gives us a list of files.
Which is again categorized in different types like app folders,recently created file and All files.
App folders contain app related data,
recently created file contains mostly junk temp files and some of the thing you downloaded  recently
and all files gives the files from other category which are just unknown files or just files.
with this feature you can always get the data of what all you have on your phone and basically you can remove files you don't use and make some room for other files or free up some storage. 
I would really like to see this feature in future.
### Conclusion:
All these features above are really useful as we can keep track of data and navigate in file manager easily and recover deleted files. We can free up storage from our smartphone and use the free storage for other files.
