The term HODL which means "Hold on for dear life" is a strategy used in the crypto system by the crypto geeks.  [Source](https://unsplash.com/s/photos/hodl) HODL means that during a bearish market you are holding on to your acquired crypto asset in the hope that it rises and you can sell to make profit. The recent dip in the crypto market will better explain this as people who do not know much about crypto are in fear of losing all there investment thereby selling when they are at loss. Crypto experts knows that this time is the best time to use the term HODL and wait till the crypto rises and even try to accumulate more. In the Hive Blockchain as there are people who sells their hive coin because they are afraid it might drop even lower , there are also people who are applying the HODL method and saving up there hive coin and even accumulating more, this are the people that know how the crypto system works and how they can utilize when the market is bearish. Just a proposal not an advice. I think it is better use the HODL method and save up your hive or even accumulate more to be able to make gain when it rises because hive coin is one of those strong-rooted coin out there, it won't be easy for it to crash, God forbid it 😀.
