I was selling my vote as I thought it isn't a bad idea to sell my votes while I'm busy for something and cannot read and vote posts and comments on Steemit. I posted my first impression of this idea few weeks ago.

However I changed my mind and stop selling my votes. There were two reasons.

First of all I felt a bit strange that my votes is on a post/comment I don't know. I didn't have any negative experience but I felt it's a bit scary if a bot upvote something against my opinion and it remains on blockchain eternally. Suppose there is a post saying "I hate onions!!!" As a big fan of onion I don't upvote the post by myself. It's a funny case but when we replace "onion" to a name of a country, person, religion ... it's quite controversial for some cases.

Another reason is that even I could set until which voting power I sell, sometimes I was frustrated that I couldn't fully upvote posts I liked. I have to wait until my voting power recovers, which takes few days. It's matter of configuration but it was difficult for me.

Then I stopped selling my votes. It was my conclusion of few weeks of an experiment. It's totally up to personal preference wether you sell your vote or not. My opinion may change in the future.

How do you think about selling vote to bots?

ただ、少し考えを変えてやめました。理由はふたつあります。

まず、upvote bot が何を upvote するかわからないというのが気になりました。特に何かネガティブな経験をしたわけではないのですが、もし自分の思うところと違う投稿やコメントが upvote されて、それが永久にブロックチェーンに残るというのもなんだかなと思ったのです。たとえば「たまねぎ大嫌い！！」みたいな主張に対して、私はたまねぎ大好きなので upvote したくありません。たまねぎを政治家や国、宗教の名前で読みかえると結構危ない気がします。

もうひとつの理由は、bot が設定した voting power まで使ってしまうのでおもしろい投稿を見つけた時にあまり SBD がつかず残念に思うことが多かったからです。Voting power は回復するのに時間がかかるので、すぐにフルパワーで vote することができません。これは設定のしようでもあるのですが、なかなか難しいと思いました。

そんなこんなで、vote を売るのは私には向かないような気がしてやめました。多分好みによるのだと思います。私の考えもまた変わるかもしれません。
