 I woke up a bit later than usual as I attended a BBQ party at my friend's garden last night. This week I took time to maintain overgrown plants. Strawberries are one of them. They dominated my balcony by growing large leaves and making a lot of baby plants. I'm happy to see it as strawberries are a kind of plants that connect my mother, daughter and me. So I gently trimmed old and large leaves and put baby plants on pots so that they can grow roots. I made more than ten pots and still some more babies ... !   They will be ready in few weeks. Then I will bring the plants to the community garden I maintain so that we will have strawberry party next year with the visitors 🍓 Talking a bit more about strawberries, late summer varieties I bought from a local farmer makes flowers and fruits these days. I feel they are gifts from my mother and happy that she continues living in my heart and in my memories.  In the space I made, I planted leafy vegetables for the following seasons such as scallions, arugula, miner's lettuce, Asian salad mix, Japanese and German spinaches, endives and so on. As a herb, I planted chervil, which garnishes soups beautifully in the upcoming soup seasons.  Fresh own grown leaves are priceless. In this summer, I was disappointed at leaves from supermarkets that wilts next day ... 😢 Those from farmers' market or organic stores were good though (I write this for their honor).  Good thing about autumn gardening is that it is unbelievably easy to grow leaves. Some cold hardy varieties can survive through German winter. Their growth is slow but there are no pests and less needs for watering. If you do gardening only in spring and summer, give it a try! I strongly recommend it 😊 In the end, I want to show sunflowers from the balcony. There were more than ten sunflowers and I took two of them to the kitchen. To have sunflowers and grow Monstera cuttings, I bought a large glass vase.  That's it about my micro garden of the week. My NFT inspired by the Lima Beans I had in my balcony turned to be a NFT and featured as a cover on @nftshowroom 's post 😊 [](https://hive.blog/hive-158694/@nftshowroom/behind-the-art-curating-your-nft-blog-posts-with-ocd-s0mae6) [BEHIND THE ART /// Curating your NFT blog posts with OCD](https://hive.blog/hive-158694/@nftshowroom/behind-the-art-curating-your-nft-blog-posts-with-ocd-s0mae6) <center>~~~</center> 昨晩は友人の庭でBBQパーティーがあり、深夜に帰ってきて、今日は少し遅く起きました。 今週は大きく成長していたいちごの植物の手入れをしました。大きすぎる葉っぱや古い葉っぱをとってし、ランナーの先についた小さな赤ちゃんたちを土を入れた鉢の上にのせて固定して、根っこを伸ばせるようにしました。数えてみると10個以上。   さらにまだあって、いくつかは下の階のバルコニーにとどくほど伸びていました 😅 むこう数週間で根っこがのびたらコミュニティーガーデンに移植します。来年の春はみんなでいちごパーティー・・・なんて！ いちごの中には今実をつけているものもあります。春、地元の農家から苗を購入したときに、晩夏に実がつく品種も買って混植したのです。  母が天国から差し入れをしてくれているようで、赤くなったものを朝見つけると子供が持っていくおやつボックスに入れています。 いちごや春夏の植物を手入れしてできたスペースには、秋冬に食べる葉物やハーブを植えました。  この夏はスーパーマーケットで葉物を買ったら、翌日には溶けてる（文字通り！）といったことが何度となくありがっかりしました。農家の名誉のために書いておくと、ファーマーズマーケットで直接かったり、オーガニックストアの葉物は品質がよかったです。買いに行く時間がないときに、バルコニーから新鮮な葉物をとってこられると助かります。  秋冬は、害虫の被害がほとんどなくて、頻繁に水をやるひつようがなく、葉物の栽培がとても簡単です。耐寒性のあるものだと、ドイツの冬を越すこともできます。なのでプランターひとつでもあるという人は、バラっと種をまいておきましょう。数週間後、数ヶ月後自分に感謝するはずです 😁 最後に、バルコニーのひまわりの写真を。台所に2輪持ってきました。モンステラの大きな挿木をを育てるために大きなガラスの花瓶を購入して、そこにさしています。 そんなこんなの我が家のマイクロバルコニーのアップデートでした。 追記: Hive Garden のおかげで今年の春夏はガーデニングのモチベーションを例年になく保てています。庭で育てたもの、おもしろい野菜をモチーフにしたNFTを作り始めました。Lima Beans のNFTは @nftshowroom の投稿でカバーにしてもらい、とてもうれしかったです。 [](https://hive.blog/hive-158694/@nftshowroom/behind-the-art-curating-your-nft-blog-posts-with-ocd-s0mae6) [BEHIND THE ART /// Curating your NFT blog posts with OCD](https://hive.blog/hive-158694/@nftshowroom/behind-the-art-curating-your-nft-blog-posts-with-ocd-s0mae6)
