It's my first post to Haveyoubeenhere community 😊Due to the COVID-19 situation, I'm not as nomad mama as I was ... This time it's about my city, Leipzig.

I'm living in a former Eastern German city called Leipzig. We moved into the city when our project was accepted by Social Impact Lab Leipzig four years ago. 

I'm not sure it is a touristy city but it is definitely a good place to live in. A lot of green, calm, casual, good price and so on.

We went paddling to a river that runs through the inner city. It cost 11 Euro for an hour to rent a boat for three of us. I prefer it than to go to a theme park and spend hundred euro ...

If you visit Leipzig in summer, I recommend you to go paddling.

4年前のこの時期に旧東ドイツの街、ライプチヒに引っ越してきました。子どもの食育プロジェクトがSocial Impact Lab Leipzigに採択されて、風の吹くまま気の向くまま・・・。

お父ちゃんは森の出身で私は東京の出身で、なかなかお互い妥協できる街が見つからなかったのですが、ライプチヒはいい妥協点になっています。友人が遊びに来ると、音楽ファンか、ドイツ最大の動物園目当ての家族連れでもない限り、何をしていいか迷ってしまうので、観光地としては正直どうなんだろうという場所ですが 😅

人口70万人、子どもが生まれてそこまで夜のエンターテインメントはいらないし、おしゃれでなくカジュアルな人が多く、物価も他のドイツの街に比べて安くていいことづくめです。

住んでいる人向けのエンターテインメントは結構あって、今日は家族で市内を流れている川でパドリングをしてきました。市内中心部の船着場で3人乗りの船を1時間11ユーロ（1400円ほど）で借りて船をこぎこぎ1時間、いい時間を過ごせました。

今年はもうこの週末が最後になりそうですが、夏にライプチヒに遊びに来ることがあったらぜひ街中パドリングを試してみてください。
