Hello dear education community and education supporters,
When it comes to children, we have to think more carefully about everything. As a teacher, I am very happy to be with children as they take success steps on the path of life. Their imaginations are much more advanced than us adults. That's why I realize that my own imagination is being reshaped and developed next to them.

There are many things we need to do for the development of children. Few children manage to progress properly without a guide! While carrying children to the future, the most important issue is to enable them to express themselves. Most adults underestimate them, ignore them. But we are wrong. They have a much better imagination than us. The great scientist Einstein said on this subject: "Imagination makes the world go round." says.

I am a Turkish teacher working in Turkey. My main task is to teach my students the subtleties and correct use of our language. But since there is no art teacher in my school, I also attend painting classes. I volunteered specifically for this. Because I have a talent for painting. I carried them forward with the training I received on painting. Then I turned to children so that the world would continue to spin with imagination. Isn't painting a mirror that reflects their imagination?

Söz konusu çocuklar olduğunda her şeyi daha ince düşünmek zorundayız. Çocuklar hayat yolunda başarı adımlarını atarken bir öğretmen olarak onların yanında olmaktan çok mutluyum. Hayal güçleri biz yetişkinlere göre çok daha ileri durumda. Bu yüzden onların yanında kendi hayal gücümün yeniden şekillendiğini, geliştiğini fark ediyorum.

>Çocukların gelişimi için yapmamız gereken birçok şey var. Bir rehber olmadan doğru şekilde ilerlemeyi başaran çok az sayıda çocuk var! Çocukları geleceğe taşırken en çok önem verdiğim konu onların kendilerini ifade etmelerini sağlamak. Yetişkinlerin bir çoğu onları hafife alıyor, önemsemiyor. Ama yanılıyoruz. Bizden çok daha iyi bir hayal güçleri var. Büyük bilim insanı Einstein bu konuda: "Dünyayı döndüren hayal gücüdür." diyor.

>Ben Türkiye'de görev yapan bir Türkçe öğretmeniyim. Başlıca görevim dilimizin inceliklerini, doğru kullanımını öğrencilerime öğretmek. Ama okulumda resim öğretmeni bulunmadığı için resim derslerine de giriyorum. Bu konuda özellikle gönüllü oldum. Çünkü resim konusunda yeteneklerim var. Resim konusunda aldığım eğitimler ile bunları ileriye taşıdım. Dünya hayal gücü ile dönmeye devam etsin diye çocuklara yöneldim daha sonra. Resim yapmak onların hayal gücünü yansıtam bir ayna değil mi?

When I entered painting classes, the first thing I noticed in children was their willingness. They had an uncultivated, pure talent. That's why we started with line work first. His fingers began to develop in the direction of vertical and circular lines. They gained awareness about shading, perspective and angles, which are important concepts in painting. So they realized what they were missing. It didn't take long for them to discover the techniques used to draw the sample pictures they liked very much.



>Resim derslerine girdiğimde çocuklar da ilk fark ettiğim şey istekli oluşlarıydı. İşlenmemiş, saf halde bulunan bir yetenekleri vardı. İlk olarak çizgi çalışmaları ile başladık bu yüzden. Parmakları dikey ve dairesel çizgiler yönünde gelişmeye başladı. Resim konusunda önemli kavramlar olan gölgelendirme, perspektif ve açılar konusunda bilinç kazandılar. Ne konuda eksik olduklarını fark ettiler böylece. Çok beğendikleri örnek resimlerin hangi tekniklerle çizildiğini keşfetmeleri uzun sürmedi.

After passing certain stages, they specialized in pencil drawing. The next step was painting techniques. Our journey, which started with dry paint, continued with pastel paint, which is the favorite of children aged 10-14.


>Belli aşamaları geçtikten sonra karakalem konusunda uzmanlaştılar. Sonraki aşama boyama teknikleriydi. Kuru boya ile başlayan yolculumuz 10-14 yaş arası çocukların favorisi olan pastel boya ile devam etti.

After a while, the children started to paint continuously. Painting had become a routine habit in their lives. In order to keep this interest alive, we started to organize school-wide painting competitions. The pictures you see are the winners of the competition this time. The winning pictures are on the school board for two weeks.



>Çocuklar belli bir süre sonra sürekli resim yapmaya başladılar. Resim yapmak hayatlarındaki rutin bir alışkanlık olmuştu. Bu ilgiyi canlı tutmak için okul çapında resim yarışmaları yapmaya başladık. Gördüğünüz resimler bu sefer ki yarışmanın kazananları. Kazanan resimler okul panosunda iki hafta boyunca ziyaretçileri ile buluşuyor.

Our next goal is to participate in national competitions in the upcoming school year. We have taken great strides not only in painting, but also in poetry and story. Before the pandemic, my students were the winners of the provincial painting, poetry and composition branch. Unfortunately, our work has been delayed due to the pandemic. We have been working since the schools reopened. We have made all our preparations for our next target. I have many suggestions for my students to continue their development during the summer break. They will be in a much better shape when they return.




>Sıradaki hedefimiz önümüzde eğitim yılında ulusal yarışmalara katılmak. Sadece resim dalında değil, şiir ve hikaye dalında da büyük adımlar attık. Pandemiden önce il çapındaki resim şiir ve kompozisyon dalının birincileri benim öğrencilerim olmuştu. Pandemiden dolayı çalışmalarımız aksadı malesef. Okullar tekrar açıldığında beri çalışmaya devam ediyoruz. Sıraki hedefimiz için tüm hazırlıklarımızı yaptık. Yaz tatilinde gelişimlerini devam ettirmeleri için öğrencilerime birçok önerim oldu. Döndükleri zaman çok daha iyi bir durumda olacaklar.

In a world where children are not happy, humanity is dead. The main purpose of all these works is their happiness. The world is a better place if children are happy. Let's not forget the children who are victims of war in Ukraine and Palestine, and children in Africa who have difficulty in reaching clean water and food sources...

Ukraynada'ki, Filistin'deki savaş mağduru çocukları, Afrika'da temiz su ve yiyecek kaynaklarına ulaşmakta zorluk çeken çocukları unutmayalım...
