I immediately thought of crispy mushroom chips when I found this fungus in the woods. Fried with sliced lime leaves will make it even more delicious! The next task is to find the best recipe.   *Marasmiellus inoderma*, also called the wrinkled parachute, is a fungus belonging to the family Marasmiaceae.[](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marasmiellus)    The mushroom's physique is somewhat similar to that of *Marasmiellus ramealis*. What differentiates it is that *M. inoderma* has a wider cap, like a Belinjo chip, and has wide, folded gills.     This fungus is a plant pathogen that causes root rot in plants such as areca nut, coconut, and other hardwood plants.
