*Cheritra freja*[](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheritra_freja), known as the common imperial, is a small lycaenid butterfly distributed in South Asia, Indochina, Peninsular Malaysia, and Indonesia. That's a gorgeous butterfly with flowing tails. It was heartbreaking to find this butterfly with somewhat damaged and pallid wings. Maybe it's an old butterfly with not much longer to live.
