Here I'm sharing some macro shot frames for the current #monomad challenge, with the translucent mushroom as the subject. I think it works well in black and white because the translucency on the mushroom's fruiting body gets brighter no matter how dark the background is. Based on the identification results, it was determined that the fungus was a species of *[Gerronema](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerronema)*, or more specifically, *Gerronema nemorale*.       --- <center><sup>***All of the images here are my own work, taken with Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.***</center></sup>
