A while ago, I caught the metallic shield bug that rests on a shrub. It had a beautiful shield with black spots; the same on the abdomen. It had two antennae with three segments. Those antennae are vibrating nonstop. Maybe it was detecting danger signals around it. I once had a bad experience with the same bug. At that time, I accidentally touched it. Maybe because it was shocked, it sprayed a smelly liquid from its abdomen and hit my wrist. It smelled like rat pee. I rubbed my wrist with leaves, but the smell still didn't go away. After that incident, I swore I would never touch it again. --- <center>*This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.*</center> <center>***These photos are my own, taken with POCO X3 NFC smartphone + external macro lens.***</center>
