In this post, I will be sharing my thoughts on some of the outstanding entries from Week 36 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition so far. I took time to go through several performances by different participants and was particularly drawn to two amazing entries that truly captured my attention. I’ll be highlighting these two participants and sharing my honest review of their performances.

First on my list is @brenique.

The moment I came across her post, I had a strong feeling she had something unique to offer, and I was not disappointed. Her rendition was a mashup of two powerful songs: “Lord I Give You My Heart” and “This Is the Air I Breathe”—originally by Hillsong and the Elevation Worship team respectively.

What impressed me most was her composure and vocal clarity. She sang with such grace, ensuring every word of the lyrics was delivered audibly and with great expression, even without needing subtitles. Her voice is not just beautiful, but filled with passion and sincerity.
Additionally, her acoustic guitar performance was exceptional. Each chord she struck was so calm, deliberate, and melodious—it was clear she played from the heart. Her performance was raw, pure, and emotionally engaging. I’d confidently rate her a solid 99.9/100.

Next is @davybustamante0.

He did a captivating piano cover of “Merry-Go-Round of Life” and I must say, his performance was breathtaking. The level of skill and fluidity he demonstrated on the keyboard was nothing short of impressive.
What struck me the most was how smoothly he transitioned between notes, maintaining accuracy even at a fast tempo. Not once did he hit a wrong key or lose rhythm. His fingers moved effortlessly, yet with so much precision, showing true mastery of the instrument. The entire piece flowed with elegance and precision, making it both enjoyable and technically excellent.

In conclusion, with the entries we have so far in the community, these two performances stood out for me in Week 36 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition. Both participants showcased raw talent, passion, and musical excellence. I’m so glad I came across their entries and just had to share my thoughts.
